We are seeking a skilled and dynamic External Communication Specialist to enhance our organization’s communication strategies and foster strong relationships with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in public relations, content creation, brand management, event coordination, market research, and social media management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Public Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including media representatives, customers, and partners.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, including the website, social media platforms, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all communication materials and platforms.
  • Event Management: Plan and coordinate events, conferences, and other promotional activities to enhance the organization’s visibility and reputation.
  • Market Research: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform communication strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee social media accounts, monitor online conversations, and respond to inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts using various metrics and provide regular reports to management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams to gather information, align messaging, and ensure consistent communication internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in external communication, public relations, or media relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Attention to detail and a creative mindset to develop engaging content.
