Myanmar, 22 March 2019 – uab bank reported a record net profit after tax of MMK 5,806.87 million for the six-months transitional financial year ending 30 September 2018. Annualised return on equity rose to 17.7%, a significant jump from the 1.9% for the full year ending 31 March 2018.

“Be The Change Myanmar” by UAB Bank to grant 1,000 wishes this Christmas

Yangon, 19th December 2018 – Be The Change Myanmar (#bethechangemm), an initiative by UAB Bank to bring change to people and community is expanding its #wishesdocometrue program this year and targets to grant the wishes of 1,000 under-privileged children this Christmas. Since its inception in December 2017, Be The Change Myanmar has granted over 400 wishes of under-privileged children.

 

UAB Celebrates 8th Anniversary
Yangon, 16 August 2018 – 16 August 2018 marks the 8th anniversary of UAB and amongst the activities undertaken to celebrate this occassion was a lunch donation to patients at the Yangon General Hospital.Since its incorporation, UAB has over the last 8 years expanded and extended its footprint and currently provides service to the community through its 77 branches nationwide.
