After the completion of the Business Plan by the Bank’s Management Committee, the\u00a0Annual Managers Conference is called bringing various leaders from Head Office and\u00a0Branches to an off-site to discuss the implementation of the business plan and the\u00a0longer strategic direction of the Bank.\u200b<\/span><\/p>

This year\u2019s Conference is in Heritage Bagan Hotel.\u00a0\u200b<\/span><\/p>

Day 1 –\u00a0the delegates from all over Myanmar checked into the hotel to prepare for the\u00a0Conference.\u200b<\/span><\/p>

Day 2 \u2013 In the 1st\u00a0part of the\u00a0 Day 2,\u00a0uabians\u00a0engaged\u00a0in Team Building, bringing the\u00a0many parts of our\u00a0organisation\u00a0together.\u00a0uabians\u00a0of different ages, nationality and\u00a0background together all working towards the common purpose of\u00a0Connect.Create.Change.\u00a0\u200b<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

On the 2nd\u00a0part of Day 2, the participants reviewed the Bank\u2019s performance, Business\u00a0Plan and its longer term strategy.\u200b<\/span><\/p>

Day 3 –\u00a0Workshops on Sales and Design Thinking were held to upgrade the skills of\u00a0participants to prepare for the new direction that uab bank\u00a0will take.\u200b<\/span><\/p>

Traditionally the Dinner at our Annual Managers Conference\u200b<\/span>
is a themed affair and Conference participants are required to dress creatively to\u00a0reflect the theme of the evening.\u00a0This year’s theme was\u00a0“Super Hero”<\/strong>\u00a0which is line\u00a0with the Conference theme “Rise Above”.\u00a0uabians\u00a0attending this year’s dinner were\u00a0truly creative as reflected in the costumes they wore to celebrate an evening of fun\u00a0and friendship.\u200b<\/span><\/p>

Day 4 –\u00a0delegates engaged in a team building exercise entitled\u00a0“Spaghetti Mashmallow Challenge”<\/strong>.\u00a0This is primarily a learning exercise about the importance\u00a0of design in formulating products and solutions.\u200b<\/span><\/p>

In closing, the delegates were reminded of the\u00a0uab\u00a0bank\u2019s Purpose and Values and\u00a0resolved in line with the Conference theme to\u00a0\u201cRise Above\u201d.\u200b<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
