  • New branch was opened in South Dagon Township on 5th October, 2015 at Yangon. This will be UAB's 18th branch in Yangon.   • Following the flood relief efforts at Sidoketaya District, Magway State, UAB Bank further undertook to contribute MMK 190 million towards building of 100 houses  in Kyout Kar village in Kalay District, Sagaing State. The rebuilding at the village is being undertaken by the Sagaing State Government and UAB Bank will contribute towards the rebuilding effort by way of cash, building material and equipment.  
  • On August 14th to 16th, 2015, a special aid program by UAB Bank was undertaken targeted towards  thirty-one (31) flood affected villages surrounding Sidoketaya in Magway State. The heavy monsoonal rain which started on second week of July resulted in the worst flooding in over 50 years particularly in the  upper parts of Myanmar.

  • On 14.6.2015, staff of UAB visited MiBaGon Yi monastery to undertake a donation activity to underprivileged children. The purpose was also to balance the recent honoring of Top Students under the Teenagers Reward Scheme with an awareness program among the staff of the Bank for under-privileged children.  The program was under the auspices of our Chief Business Officer and meaningful time for staff who attended.
  • Teenagers Reward Scheme - Activity to encourage students to excel in Education Under the Teenagers Reward Scheme, a reward of MMK 500,000 was offered to students who opened their Teenagers Savings Accounts with UAB and who obtained 5 (five) distinctions and above for their 2014/15 Matriculation Examination.
  • Summary:Myanmar Payment Union (MPU) and 2C2P launch a new payment service that will allow online shoppers in the country to pay for their goods with their MPU cards.
  • New branch was opened in Amarapura Township on 5th February, 2015 at Mandalay. This will be UAB's 9th branch in Mandalay. The branch opening was officiated by Administrator U Zay Ya ( City Development Committee of Amarapura Township) , U Myat Htut (Deputy Chairman , Trader & Industrialist Association) , Dr. Win Swe (Pro Rector, Mandalar College) , U Soe Myint Han (Managing Director , Asia Myanmar Co.,Ltd) , U Kyaw Myint (Managing Director, Taung Thaman Thitsar Co.,Ltd). UAB has now expanded in branch networks to 39 branches to serve its customer better.
