The Availability of Banking Services

for the week of 14th to 18th February 2022

For your convenience, we wish to announce the availability of banking services at uab branches for the week of 14th to 18th February 2022 in the branches as started.           

For each individual with an old account, the limits for withdrawal is:

  • MMK 500,000 for every 2 weeks
  • MMK 1,000,000 per month 

Please note that cash withdrawal services require the booking of an online Token and are limited to the branches.

We encourage withdrawals by the Account Holders themselves. However, if there is a reason for Third Party withdrawals, please note that for third party withdrawals, they must bring his/her original NRC and the Account Holder’s passbook. (Not a copy) at the branch they open the account. The Account Holder also needs to sign the bank’s withdrawal form authorising the third party to make the withdrawal.

For the withdrawals by the Account Holders, they can withdraw by bringing their original NRC and must bring the account passbook or ATM/UPI Cards.

In compliance to the Directives of the Central Bank Of Myanmar, new accounts opened from 3rd May 2021 onwards with cash deposits, will not require Token for withdrawals of those cash deposits. All new accounts opened from 3rd May 2021 onwards, will comply with Central Bank of Myanmar guidelines.
