We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Retail Banking team in the role of heading our Cards section. The role will oversee the development of Debit Cards, Credit Cards and Prepaid cards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assume overall responsibility for the Cards business performance and operational efficiency
Develop and implement cards and merchants acquisition strategies
Explore new opportunities through innovative product development and strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth
Work with Product Marketing team to develop campaign mechanics and proposition to drive card acquisition and usage
Work closely and actively engage with respective sales channels for cards acquisitions
Work closely with IT and Operation to ensure smooth and timely delivery of Cards related projects
Supervise the Cards Operation Section on the followings:
Provides direction & support to all customer touchpoints & operational functions in fulfilment of customer experience through digitisation and automation initiatives
Continuously enhance risk management practices to prevent fraud in the issuing and acquiring business
Implement and monitor credit card collection effort to improve NPL ratio
Improve settlement process and time Enhance customer and merchant service level
Analyse cards and merchants Profit and Loss report to identify areas for improvement
Develop and update cards and merchant’s business and financial performance to the respective committees
Build relationship with all stakeholders including but not limited to the partners, merchants, cards associations, service providers and others
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, card associations and Central Bank of Myanmar and other relevant authorities
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
Ability to identify and contact prospective clients.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
Minimum 10 years working experience in retail banking, preferably in the card and merchant industry
Evidence of strong analytical, statistical to identify opportunities to grow the card and merchant business & drive incremental card and merchant transactions
Ability to think out-of-the-box to craft innovative campaigns and able to establish strategies to drive customer and merchant loyalty, increase activation rate and reduce attrition rate
Evidence of strong business decision making & have good planning & organization skills
Minimum requirement of Bachelor’ Degree is needed for the role
