Strategic cooperation between uab bank & Myanmar Corn Industrial Association (MCIA)
On 10th March 2023, uab bank and Myanmar Corn Industrial Association (MCIA) signed an agreement on cooperation and commitment for sustainable financial solutions to strengthen the Corn trading industry.
Signing for uab bank was Mr Christopher Loh; CEO and for MCIA was U Aye Chan Aung; MCIA Chairman.
Witnessing the signing for uab bank were Daw Kyawt Kay Khaing; Dy CEO and Daw Thandar Htike; Senior Vice President, whilst U Aung Kyaw Kyaw; Mandalay MCIA Chairman and U Kyi Lwin; South Shan MCIA Chairman represented MCIA.
It is envisaged that through the partnership, support will be enhanced for an improved payment mechanism and loans to farmers, traders, and others down the value chain. Understanding the importance of agriculture to the economy, uab bank has begun its financing arrangements and credit assistance to the sector. The payment mechanism is also important to efficiently receive and make payments both locally and internationally.
