On 15th November 2019, uab bank announced the exclusive main sponsorship to Myanmar badminton star Thet Htar Thuzar and her journey and dream to participate in 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. ​

The signing ceremony was held at uab Tower @ Times City which was well attended and covered by the press. 

After the signing ceremony, a townhall session was conducted with Thet Htar Thuzar and uabians at uab Tower sharing her experiences and receiving assurances of their support for her dream to participate in 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. It was a fruitful session for all who attended.
