uab bank and Frankfurt School collaborates on Capacity Building Programmes

Yangon, 11th February 2020 – uab bank, recognised as Myanmar’s Best Bank by Euromoney and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management gGmbH (Frankfurt School) announced their collaboration to explore jointly developing, delivering and offering customised trainings to both uab employees as well as to the public.

The MoU was signed on 8 th February 2020 at the Grand Opening of the uab bank’s new Head Office at uab Towers @ Times City. The partnership between Frankfurt School and uab bank is aimed at helping to meet Myanmar’s rising need for capacity building programs and good quality education targeted at the banking and finance professionals.

The collaboration envisages classroom training and regular evening events on leadership, banking and finance topics leveraging Frankfurt School’s expertise in being the leading private business school and advisory institute in Germany with more than 50 years of experience in consulting, professional education, certified programs and training services in all areas of banking and finance.

This agreement will enable Frankfurt School and uab bank to build on their expertise for the development of training curriculum and certification that are suitable and practical for banking professionals in Myanmar. As the nation postures for further economic growth, these programmes are envisaged to further support the development of the banking industry.
