Yangon, 4th April 2020 – uab bank, a leading bank in Myanmar who was named Myanmar’s Best Bank by Euromoney, announced a strategic partnership with Myanmar’s renowned celebrity Sai Sai Kham Leng to launch the World’s First Celebrity App to create a digital lifestyle ecosystem, support the local music & film industry and raise funds for COVID-19. The celebrity app “Sai Sai Pay” would provide a digital lifestyle ecosystem including live-streaming, music store, e-commerce, rewards and more. The app will also include a fan club feature later that allows users to interact with the local artists, support them and chat with them.

With the launch of this app, “Sai Sai Birthday Show” in Bedroom on April 10th will be live-streamed on this app and is available free to everyone. Sai Sai’s fans and all users will be able to donate for COVID-19 and all the funds raised from this birthday show will go to the COVID-19 Relief Fund and other necessary areas.

Commenting on the launch of Sai Sai Pay, Sai Sai Kham Leng said, “I am very excited to partner with uab bank, the best bank in Myanmar awarded by Euromoney to launch this “Sai Sai Pay” and jointly raise funds for COVID-19. I am so glad to be able to celebrate this year birthday with my fans in a more meaningful way. People in Myanmar now are getting concerned with COVID-19 and the greatest need during the outbreak is to help ensure the country is prepared. I believe that people from all walks of life will definitely want to contribute to help fight COVID-19 and this app will allow my fans and people in Myanmar to donate easily. We hope these donations can help make a difference to the people and society we are in. With most people staying home or under quarantine during this coronavirus pandemic, I would like to share joy and love with my music. With Sai Sai Pay, all my fans and others can stay home and enjoy the show safely via the app.

As part of the strategic partnership, both uab bank and Sai Sai will continue to explore and expand the scope of partnership to bring digital and lifestyle innovation to Sai Sai’s fan and to everyone.

Christopher Loh, MD & CEO of uab bank said that, “We are honoured to partner with Sai Sai and the launch of Sai Sai Pay marks another milestone in uab bank, demonstrating our commitment to leading change and humanising banking especially in this difficult time. Bringing Sai Sai Birthday Show in Bedroom and spreading love & joy with music free to everyone and jointly raising funds reflect our shared goal of helping Myanmar overcome COVID-19.”
