Amid the 3rd wave of COVID-19 in Myanmar, uab bank Limited has taken several steps to ensure public and employees’ safety. The Bank is also mindful of the need to service its customers and is endeavoring to ensure that as many of its branches remain opened and that digital services are available on a 24-hour basis for customers to access their accounts.

The COVID-19 pandemic has deeply impacted lives and livelihoods both in Myanmar and across the world. At this time of the 3rd  wave, uab bank has activated its Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and formed a Crisis Control Unit (CCU) to monitor and navigate the business through day-to-day operational issues. The CCU also will ensure that the health and safety issues at the Bank is being taken care of.

The experience of the 1st  and 2nd  wave will guide our Team in taking the necessary prudent steps.

The Bank is committed to provide essential services to the public and at uab bank branches, the necessary precautionary measures are being conducted, and these include:

  • Face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers
  • It is mandatory for the employees and customers to wear a mask all the time
  • Maintain social distancing
