Recognised for its successful transformation and leadership in the Myanmar banking sector amidst the regulatory changes and governance requirements, uab bank was named ‘Myanmar’s Best Bank’ by Euromoney for 3 consecutive years from 2019 to 2022. It was also named ‘Best Retail Bank Myanmar 2022’ by Retail Banker International and ‘Best Bank 2021’ by Global Finance.
Apart from the international recognition, uab bank received 1st place ranking at the 2020 Pwint Thit Sa Report published by Myanmar Center for Responsible Business together with ‘Best Companies to Work in Myanmar – Employees Choice’ by Jobnet.
Established in 2010, we are now serving our customers from a growing network of over 84 branches in 55 townships across Myanmar. uab provides a wide range of financial services including consumer banking, premier banking, SME banking, corporate banking, trade finance and treasury services. Through our subsidiary uab securities, we also provide brokerage services, corporate and financial advisory, investment banking and capital market activities.
